Matt again is promoted to National Sales Manager. After this promotion, Matt travels the world to find the best quality machines and establish relationships with manufacturers.
This year, Matt also helped to sell and install one of the first fully automated lasers in the Salt Lake Valley.
The first distribution set up by Matt was a success. He takes this time to learn the ins and outs of international importing and exporting as well as long-term service agreements.

After the design is unveiled, FABTECH Expo invites Matt to be a keynote speaker at the largest machine tools tech show in the United States.
Matt, along with his son Beau, started Moore Machine Tools, a name to honor Richard Moore in the front room of their house. The first purchase for the company is made; 2 plastic tables from Costco.
The company expands out of the house and into a bigger space to allow a third hire.
In the wake of the pandemic, Moore Machine Tools installs a laser CNC machine to handle business prototyping and overflow.
